Kaweah Falls – Retreat House with River Runs under the Dining Room

This home is one of those which have nearly perfect sites for retreat, with a small river and waterfall run under its dining room and a serene location just at the Sequoia National Park. An extraordinary location to say at least. Having such location would be a waste if the home’ design itself doesn’t match the nature’s beauty, so the architect Frank Robert, the student of Frank Lloyd Wright designed the house with the dark brown façade, the bridge-like design and the several decks to blend and to sense the nature. The bridge-like design which spans across the river to the private island has a wooden interior that looks and is sensed so natural, giving a strong sense of living among nature. This 3000 sq foot house features 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, 2 kitchens, decks and porches and an adjacent garage with an office. Source.
