Modern Holiday Cottage with Chalet Design Concept

This house is old enough now, but when it was built in 2003, this house may utilize some different approach that may be useful for today’s architecture. This house was built with considerations about the topography, character and quality of the location. The chalet design was the result of a concept of raising the house vertically in order to capture the majestic views via huge panorama windows while other windows were designed small enough. Dark timber cladding adds the impression. This house was also designed with single-room-house concept. There are no separate rooms but only vertical or horizontal zones that fulfill several functions. According to the architect: The luxury of the house does not lie in expensive details and materials but in its location and its spaces.” Via
