This house was built by “Armon Choros Architektonikis” an architecture firm founded in Larnaca, Cyprus in 1995 and has won some important awards. From the street, this house is defined by its circular wall along with a flat volume with glass cladding. There, at the circular wall a pool exits of the wall, suspended over the street below, and becomes the main focal point of the house just as requested by the owners which wanted to have an internal yard with water as the main element. This pool as the focal point is visible from almost every room as well as the yard. Besides adding a curved wooden bridge to the pool which gives a nice contrast to the main element, concrete, the architects also designed the floor in the living room with the same material. Other room in the house was done in modern style and neutral colors while also adding a rustic style via the raw concrete ceiling.
