Walking Table - Unique Wooden Table Design that Can Walk by Wouter Schebulin

The walking table by the Dutch industrial designer Wouter Schebulin, is a piece of furniture that is made and designed carefully showing the beauty of mechanics. When pushed, the object comes to life and mimic the natural movement of walking, resembling an animal with four legs. This does confuse our perception of a static piece of furniture together. With an independent and highly functional design, the designer displays an interesting fascination with the construction of elements of mechanical operation. Using crank gear systems and gives life to an inanimate object (making it easier to move without leaving marks on the floor), recalling the sophisticated structures of mechanical motion through the wind, made by Theo Jansen. The Unique wooden table is available in an edition of walnut, 8 pieces in the gallery Priveekollektie, based in Holland.  (The table colors can be soft or dark wood color)
