Modern Small House Design with Limited Construction Budget in Czech Republic

This modern house is located in Czech Republic and was designed by A1 Architects. The simple form suits its modest budget, but the design is not all that simple. With the pastoral view around, it was important to engage with the view, this house was designed with an outdoor entertaining area.

The shape of this small house is simple with the gabled roof, but the grey color and the wood accent show its contemporary flair. Inside, the interior as a whole is warmth and inviting, especially in the living and the dining room.

The ambiance comes from the color combination of white, black and grey. Also, the wood flooring and the exposed timber for the ceiling exude natural ambiance for the overall interior design. As a whole, this modern house is a warmth, inviting and livable house that maximizes its limited construction budget. A1 Architects.

Modern House Renovation into Two Stories Cube House Design

This house originally was built in the 70s with gable roof, the new cubical shape is the result of the renovation done by architecture firm “Blanca,” the architect built and raised the house into two stories based on the original rectangular plot of the first floor. the new renovation also centered the interior design around the existing double-height circulation (the only double-height room inside), that acts to link and separate public and private areas in the house. The result is a simple modern cube house design with beautiful wood accents which come from flooring and the staircases. Project Name:  Casa Muñoz.   Architects: BLANCA (Rodolfo Cañas, Hans Madariaga) + Raúl Salinas.   Location: Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.    Year of design and construction: 2007-2008.    Predominant materials: Masonry reinforced and metalcom.   Photo: Rodolfo Cañas

Modern Wooden House Design on Budget

This house is a real challenge in creativity for the architects at Tyler Engle Architects, the tight site and tight budget presented a handicap to build a building. The solution was to build the house as a system of modules, something like a modification of the traditional Japanese architecture Tatami mat module. The system is constructed of a 12 x 16 feet grid system and covered by 4 x 8 feet plywood sheets. The final result is quite stunning, this column-supported house is beautiful, the color and texture combination of the façade do make the house charming, even though the materials are not the best in quality and appearance. The modern interior is also warmth and inviting, the neutral color is combined with the darker wooden floor. The interior is also bright, giving a sense of spaciousness. Modern Desert Retreat House Built with Low Budget

This house is built with relatively modest budget with built up area of 1280 sq feet. The approach was to design a fancy house design within the limited choice of materials and fancy accessories. The design result is astonishing, the house looks beautiful thanks to the effective use of materials, colors, and textures that are blended with the fancy design. This house utilizes simple forms for many items the interior but those items look elegant and have strong visual impact like the white desk and sofa or red accents in the bedroom. This house also requests low-budget for maintenance, an important factor for the house that is continuously exposed to the strong winds and heat. This house is located in Orondo, Washington, the architect was SkB Architect.
