Modern Lake Home Design which Looks Bigger than the Actual Size

This lake house was designed by architect Daniele Claudio Taddei and is located in Brissago, Switzerland, perched above a lake and among the vineyard. The architect clad the house with rustic style wood, creating a home that blends nicely in this environment. This house also features large windows to capture the lake, mountain and the Italian countryside’s views to the south. The way the architect raised the house, and the entire design of the house create a sense of size for the house. The house looks larger than the actual size and the architect named the house the “Casa Larga.” But, that’s a good thing, and if the bright interior also looks bigger than the actual size, that’s just going better. The sense of spaciousness in the interior is also enhanced with the interior’s neutral and bright colors. There, the simple interior design looks beautiful and warmth thanks to the wood flooring. Furthermore, the walls are decorated with views of the surroundings, but if that’s not enough, there are some balconies to enjoy fresh breezes and bird songs. The house also has a beautiful courtyard but has a lack of street access, both are enhancing the sense of peacefulness and serenity of the place (which makes the artist calls this place “home”).
