With only 2000+ sq ft lot available to build a home for the young family owners with the access easement covering a portion of the southwest corner making the most of the yard are covered by the building. The architects of PB Elemental Architectures reversed the order of the home’s public and private rooms, the main living room is dedicated on the third level, in a west-facing deck volume with large glass windows and access to the roof terrace.
Inside, the beautiful bright and inviting interiors were created by the owners, they opted for the beautiful high-contrast for the furniture and the wall covering, creating interiors which exude a joy and vibrancy. I personally love the high-gloss surfaces of the furniture.
The wall just next to the stair to the main living room is made of glass, creating a seamless visual connection to the street. And from this space, the owners can access to the lovely wood-floored rooftop area with unobstructed views to the Ballard and the Puget Sound.
Project Name: Phinney Modern. Location: Phinney Ridge neighborhood, Seattle, Washington. Architects: Pb Elemental Architecture. If you like this home and especially the roof terrace, we also have another beautiful small rooftop garden design with water features on a townhouse. Via
