The “Setia Eco Park Villa” as the name suggests is equipped with solar panels on the canopy providing 30% of the energy consumed by the villa. As the location of the villa is at the palm coconut plantation 15 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the solar panels could be very effective year round. This building also features rain water collection system on the rooftop garden. Furthermore, building a home in tropical area would require less electricity since natural cooling and lighting are abundant, also, it doesn’t need heating. (So, even though the clients of such villa can be very demanding, the sustainability of the building can be achieved). Apart from the green features, the modern house design itself is stunning. The three levels building features large windows and interior courtyard making the modern interior bright and airy. While the ground level courtyard is beautiful and relaxing, the house is keeping its gem above the roof. There’s a small but beautiful rooftop courtyard with its two pools and gazebo. This beautiful tropical villa was designed by architects of TWS & Partners.

Stunning Small Tropical House with Beautiful Ocean Views in Peru
If this house was mine, all I want to do is just sit back and relax under the beautiful sun. With the amazing location and small site of only 209-sq meters, an open design is just fit very well for this house since it gives two advantages, first is enable it to capture the view while the second will give a sense of spaciousness for the house. The house’s design is fully closed from the street but the design is still interesting and inviting thanks to the two simple gray walls and a beautiful small garden. This house is one of many contemporary homes with rooftop area. This design particularly helps providing another space to provide entertainment area for the owner. Despite its small size, this house has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. This house is located at Playa La Isla in Peru and was designed by Juan Carlos Doblado.
The Fish House – Luxury Tropical Bungalow
This house is located on the beachfront in Singapore, so the house was built with special goal to ensure the connection between the house and the surrounding landscapes. The house is said to be a “modern tropical bungalow,” a compliment that is proudly presented through the open design that invite both the nature and the house to blend. The first stunning feature of the house could be the outdoor living area at the middle of the pool, sheltered by another living area. The difference is that the latest area is clad with glass, creating an indoor entertainment area that also very opens to the majestic views. Other rooms of the house are also heavily clad with glass, this Fish House in sort is a modern beach house with very open design that really maximizes its interaction with its outdoors. To blend the house with the nature, there are some interesting designs to highlight. First is the pool that is built around the living area, virtually brings the ocean to the house, the second would be the two coconut trees that are planted at the middle of the same pool. The other features could be the waving roof and a rooftop courtyard. According to the architects of Guz Architects: “The idea of connection is reinforced by having the basement level media-room with a u-shaped acrylic window which allows diffuse natural light in and also views out into the pool. The curved roofs, which symbolize the sea waves, also emphasize the idea of the nearby sea. These are almost totally covered with thin bendable photovoltaic panels supplying enough energy to the house, while the remaining area is used as a green roof giving residents some outdoor leisure spaces.”
