Largest Green Building in the World

In the urgency to prevent global warming, the architects of this building were willing to use the solar energy for the building they built in Dezhou, Shangdong Province in northwest China. This is a large building of 75.000 square meters, and it is a multifunction building features scientific research facilities, meeting and training facilities, exhibition centers and a hotel, all of them run on solar power. This building is the best example so far for sustainable building design because of its scale and the high percentage of sustainable power it uses. This design is not only “adding” a few green features inside.  Via – Ecofriend & China
