This house is located on the shore of Osoyoos Lake in one of the most amazing natural paradise, British Columbia in Canada. It seems that the architects of CEI Architecture create the building to be able to diffuse a rather soft natural lighting of the region while also able to take advantage from the scenic landscape. The east side features large openings, allowing the morning lights, lights that bounce from the lake and the entire sceneries to diffuse into the house. The openings allow the common spaces which are located on the first floor (the living room, dining room and kitchen) get the best from its surroundings, these interiors are bright, airy and relaxing with an easy access to the lake, for both physically and sights. A solid south wall was also created to block the harsh summer sun at days. This two stories / levels modern house houses its private rooms, all bedrooms, laundry room and a recreation room in the second level, and, enhancing the relaxing atmosphere, a roof top area was created as the best space to enjoy the outdoors privately.
