This is the “Nogg” not the “Egg,” the nogg is a very interesting modern chicken coop designed in collaboration between furniture designer and engineer Matthew Hayward and Creative Director Nadia Turan. The idea was based on the trend of urban chicken keeping while also benefits from having fresh egg in the morning. The sleek and modern design for the lucky chickens is an answer for the ugly design of traditional chicken house, sure it was upsetting to look at the ugly, badly constructed chicken coop. The hand crafted Nogg is made of strong cedar which is durable, naturally scented and is naturally bacteria free. The frames are made of stainless steel, the top is made of glass that innovatively twists and lifts to aid ventilation. The nogg sits on a concrete base, it is damp proof and is stable since the concrete base is fastened with stainless steel rings.
