The Austin based Bercy Chen Studio has built this prefab house which rated 3 out of 5 in the ”City of Austin Green Building Projects.” In this modern home design, the efficiencies of prefab are blended with the beauty of the design and its nature. Open design concept is the main theme there. Instead of using metal panels for the walls, the architects are using glasses for cladding material. There are two volumes of the house which are connected via a pebbled deck. This deck which spans from one volume’s roof to the second level entrance of the other volume is covered with tent giving a classic impression of being in a summer camp. The interior design and home decoration are done in “shiny” way.
