This Holiday house belongs to the architect Adam Michael and is located in the Australia outback. After designing many retreat houses an architect may need to relax and enjoy himself in his own retreat house. The site location on a hill with very beautiful surroundings, hills, valley, and lush green forest, has been mandated the architect to build the house with large glass claddings, mostly for the living areas. These areas also have a reflecting pool that creates the aura of calm and serene just as its peaceful nature. Other areas are built in separate volumes. These areas house two bedrooms. The glass claddings are also utilized for those volumes but only at the valley facing sides. These volumes are clad mostly with dark timber and all of the areas, living and bedrooms are sheltered with open roof which is also installed with PV cells to collect the solar energy. –Via
