A small, black and sweet summer retreat for the family with two from the big city living in Moscow is located in a peaceful village on the upper Volga River. Designed by Bureau Bernaskoni, the black, rustic wooden cottage has proven itself to be a natural addition for the pastoral landscape surroundings, complemented with a 17th century church visible through its windows, and the river views in front of the house. Although the simple, minimalist black exterior is an understated statement for its presence, and the interior has also designed in the same fashion, the final result is however, is a peaceful atmosphere in the inside and out. And also, a loft that requires low maintenance and exudes casual lifestyle. Enhancing the serene atmosphere, the bathroom features a sliding glass door with privacy shutter that extends the interior to the landscape, via a Siberian Larch deck built for outdoor entertaining area.
