After spending some time in an existing house, the clients of the architects Dick Clark Architecture wanted a new house that can accommodate their evolving lifestyle. The new house (which is located near the Marble Falls, Texas) as a result, is better in accommodating the outdoors, wind patterns, existing tree canopy and the amazing lake view are important in the new home design. There, Exterior circulation paths and separate living spaces encourage a connection with the outdoors.
The external circulation paths were created since this modern concrete and wood house is built in three separate volumes, for the boat and car near the lake, and two other volumes. From the outside, the house is warmth and inviting with its color combination of grey from the cast in place concrete, brown wood, ipe siding and Rheinzink metal siding. Inside, the interior design is done in exceptional furnishing, the wood kitchen looks luxurious, the sofa that faces the lake is very inviting and the fireplace inside the concrete frame is warmth for both body and mind.
