This house was built with many prefabricated concrete slabs that form a straight-lined house with many wall planes, a design that has made the architects call the house the “Planar House.” in this 3.200 sq foot house, this residence also houses the family’s art collections, “This home is to be a part of, and vessel for, a large contemporary art collection. Great 20th-century works by Bruce Nauman, Robert Ryman, Jeff Koons and Jannis Kounellis are part of the collection,” according to the architect Steven Holl. For the location in Paradise Valley, Arizona, the architect has manage to blend the house with its environment via perforated corten steels that play shades and glows at days and nights. The interior for the house is divided into three areas, at the front, there are master bedroom, garage and the library, while at the rear, this home houses kitchen, dining area and the study room. The gallery for the art collections is located at the middle of the house, the house also features a rooftop garden, a pool and a courtyard just close to the dining area. Steven Holl Architects.
