This house is located among the pines in El Esparragal, Murcia, Spain, a place which represents in its name Casa de los Pinos (House Among the Pines). The house design itself is quite original, the house features stone and concrete ground level volumes that support the second level glass enclosed volume. The uniqueness of this combination is complemented by the unique shape and topped by multi angle roof. This design also allows the owners to enjoy the beautiful view and ample of natural lights. The architects of XPIRAL architecture also built this house with some sustainable features. First is the use of locally source materials such as the stone and the pathway’s timber. The second could be planting new trees to replace the removed trees from the site.
