Being located at the corner of a street in Walnut Creek, near San Francisco, California this restaurant, the “Vesu Restaurant” must attract visitors/passers by at the first sight. Well, the rounded façade and glass may looks simple but this restaurant interior design is really enchanting. This interior is dominated by dark colors which come from the black chairs, the dark floor and the dark brown tables. The architects and interior designer from Arcsine Architecture and Bellusci Design designed this restaurant to accommodate numerous people but in intimate atmosphere. Chairs are arranged closely one to another while the lighting from numerous small lights enhance the intimate feel. Lighting also used to decorate this modern restaurant interior like one to highlight the wine bottles. More description from the architects: “To blur the boundary between restaurant and city, Arcsine wrapped the building with a contemporary wood-panel façade, installed large operable windows, and introduced an entry canopy—made with FSC-certified Eucalyptus—that begins at the entry, winds through the lounge, and terminates at the bar. These elements, combined with sensuous materials and rich colors, craft a provocative urbane space that is comfortable and connected.” -Via.
